I Love Mondays!

I know most people hate Mondays - mainly because their weekend is over and they have to go back to work.  I get that. But I'm a full-time homemaker so Mondays don't have the same effect on me. However, just like you full-time work-outside-the-home folks, my weekend is over and I do have to go back to work!  It's just that my work is my home.

Mondays are usually heavy house cleaning days.  Between the grandkids and the puppy and me relaxing my standards over the weekend, the house is in pretty bad shape by Monday morning.

So most Monday's I can be found putting the house back together. I don't really mind, though.  In fact, I kind of like it.  I know - that's sick! But there's something so satisfying of bringing order out of chaos.

What's your favorite day of the week?

  1. I guess I would say, Mondays as well. My reasons are different though. I like starting the new week with a clean slate. Whatever happened last week is over and done and I can look forward to what this week brings.
I love that I found your blog. I was missing reading about your newest addition (Lucy) and your planner ups and downs. I like reading your blog posts because I can relate to it. Life can be messy and with ADD it makes it more challenging.;) I am encouraged by your posts. Thank you.
    Have a great Monday!

  2. Jodi - I've actually been writing for Franklin Planners for several years. It's fun to be a guru!

I like Mondays for that reason, too - a fresh start!

  3. +1 for Mondays. Oh, that sounds sick. SO is home all day, whatever schedule I might have is just an inaudible whisper. So, Monday can't come soon enough. Never thought I'd say that. Younger Me would be horrified. So glad to have found this site. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a Blessed Christmastime.
