There's a Reason for Everything!

No - this isn't some deep philosophical conversation about the meaning of life.  It's simply about why I don't close my closet door all the way - ever.  And that probably doesn't seem like a post-worthy topic except that it drives my husband a little crazy.

The other day we had this conversation:
David:  "Why don't you close your closet door all the way?  It's always open the same amount every single day.  I'm just curious about why."
Me:  "I have no idea."
So yesterday I was closing my closet door and I figured it out.  After I get my clothes out of the closet in the morning, I fling the door shut.  The door hits the frame and then bounces back. The same amount every single time.

And that's why I leave the door open the same amount every day.  See -

There's a reason for everything.
